Carlos Alcaraz Celebrated His Latest Win in Sold-Out Nike x Palace Kicks

Sure, that happens with a lot of buzzy drops. But this one was different: It marked the first-ever sneaker linkup between the British skate brand and the American sportswear giant. Palace was a longtime Adidas collaborator, working with the German label for over 10 years on everything from the Samba and the Ultraboost 21 to the Pro Primeknit (which, fun fact, Robert Pattinson wore constantly).

But a decade’s a long time in the sneaker game. And while Palace are far from the first collaborator to leap from the Stripes to the Swoosh (or vice-versa), their debut “P90” collection certainly ranks among the splashiest Nike collab debuts: In addition to the slick metallic spin on the Total 90 III, the duo launched a full soccer-inspired capsule featuring tracksuits, jerseys, hoodies, and tees, plus a Nike-backed transformation of South London’s historic Manor Place into a free-to-access community hub that includes a skatepark, football cage, and gallery space.

In any case, the Total 90 III’s silvery leather uppers and neon highlights were a perfect match for Alcaraz’s icy blond buzz and sharp Nike duds. There are still quite a few matches left in the ATP Finals tournament before Alcaraz can potentially lay claim to his latest silverware, but in the meantime, he’s already winning sartorially.
