Hamas transfers remains to Red Cross for identification in Israel
Israeli sources told The Jerusalem Post that the remains are not those of any of the three remaining hostages set to be returned as part of the Israel-Gaza Ceasefire deal.
Hamas has handed over remains to the International Committee of the Red Cross, which will later be transferred to Israel for identification, Qatari state-run outlet Al Jazeera reported on Monday.
Israeli sources told The Jerusalem Post that the remains in question were located during scans in the Zeytoun area of northern Gaza.

The sources added that the remains are not those of any of the three remaining hostages set to be returned as part of the Israel-Gaza Ceasefire deal.
Al Jazeera originally reported that Hamas had handed over the remains of the Gaza hostage to the Red Cross. However, IDF sources confirmed to the Post that they were not familiar with such reports.
