Tyler Chin, Associate Commerce Editor

Todd Snyder

Italian Flannel Herringbone Wythe Suit

These days, when I don’t know what to wear, it’s been easy to throw on a suit. I know Todd’s Wythe suit fits me the best, and in this winter-ready flannel, I might even be able to ditch a jacket (don’t worry, mom, I won’t).

Aritzia

Plush Cashmere Oversized V-neck Sweater

Yes, it’s a “woman’s” sweater, but its shape and drape makes it perfect for my shorter torso, and that plush heavyweight cashmere is the only thing that’ll protect me from the winter chill.

Image may contain: Clothing, Coat, Overcoat, and Trench Coat

Gucci

Batavia Wool Coat

I tried this coat on when I went to Rome, and it took everything in me not to walk out with it. It fit me so perfectly that even the sales associate had to bring someone over to look at it, and I swear she wasn’t doing that to make a sale. Now, if anyone has a few G’s lying around, I’m a size 46, please and thank you.

Image may contain: Clothing, Pants, and Shorts

Everybody.World

Heather Sweatpants

For years, I would wear shorts to the gym no matter how cold it got. I think I’m entering my cold old man era because that 10-minute walk to the gym in 30-degree weather has been rough lately. These sweats look like they have just the right amount of heft to not make me look like a schlub and the coziness is just a plus, especially when I’m mid-squat.

Avidan Grossman, Senior Commerce Editor

Image may contain: Clothing, Knitwear, Sweater, and Sweatshirt

&Daughter

Ava Argyle Crewneck

When I say my mom would’ve put me in this for middle-school picture day I mean it as the highest praise possible.

Image may contain: Wristwatch, Arm, Body Part, and Person

Patek Philippe

Vintage Calatrava

Everybody and their kid brother is pining after a mint-condition Tank. All I want to unwrap is a gently-worn Calatrava.

Image may contain: Clothing, Coat, Jacket, and Leather Jacket

Prada

Nappa Leather Jacket

I’m not sure I was good enough this year to merit Prada’s buttery leather blouson, but if you’re willing to overlook which side of the naughty-nice spectrum I landed on, I’m willing to accept the gift.

Image may contain: Clothing, Footwear, Shoe, and Sneaker

Noah

Buckle Loafer

When the Noah team designed their low-slung buckle loafers, they probably had little inkling they’d usher in a kiltie resurgence in the process. Menswear nerds, send your gratitude their way—and route a pair of these to me.

Timex

Atelier GMT24 M1a

Let Avidan have his crusty old Patek—this year, all I want for Christmas is this ultra-sleek new Timex GMT. The classic American watch company has shirked their once-patriotic brand identity and is now in cahoots with a team of crafty Swiss watchmakers for its new Atelier line. While I can’t stand the tiny-coffee-drinking, universally insured European way of life sullying Timex’s good American name, I must admit, this GMT is sehr gut.

Image may contain: Clothing, Formal Wear, Suit, Blazer, Coat, Jacket, Tuxedo, Accessories, and Tie

J. Press

Made-in-USA Muted Navy Plaid Fox Air Suit

Though I’m a product of the sterling (but perhaps a touch unrefined) New Jersey public school system, prep is back, and if I’m going to make it in this new, loafer-y world, I need to pop this suit from J. Press into my closet ASAP. How else am I going to make it seem like my high school had a golf course?

Image may contain: Clothing, Pants, and Jeans

Lee

101 Z Regular Fit Straight Leg Jean

One of the biggest reasons I’ve strayed from the Levi-clad days of my youth is the oh-so-perfect fit of these thirty-three-dollar jeans. So, I decided I want to try out a pair of Lee’s 101 Z Straights to see if they have that same great fit. Am I as savvy about selvedge denim as my esteemed colleagues? No—Orslow I thought. This holiday season, I’m getting in on A.P.C. the action to cement Our Legacy as a brand full of denimheads with a Kapital D.

Blundstone

Men’s Classics #587

I have worn the living shit out of my trusty pair of #063s for, like, three out of five days in the past year. They are, unsurprisingly for Blundstones, still very much intact. However, it’s primo hiking season right now—a.k.a. short walks in the woods followed by sucking down gallons of Hudson Valley beer—and I can’t be traipsing around the harsh wilderness of [checks notes] twenty minutes north of Yonkers in dress boots. That’s where these classic, ready-for-anything Blunnies come in.

Gerald Ortiz, Style Commerce Writer

Image may contain: Blazer, Clothing, Coat, Jacket, Fleece, Long Sleeve, Sleeve, and Vest

Lemaire

Black Soft Wool Twill Field Jacket

The field jacket, I swear, is coming back. While the classic OD-107 military green colorway will always be good, this black colorway, rendered in Lemaire’s signature modern minimalistic language, looks even better.

Image may contain: Clothing, Coat, Jacket, Fleece, Knitwear, Sweater, and Blazer

Haven

Ridge Liner – Polartec® Alpha® Fleece Umber

HAVEN brand’s Polartec Alpha series of goods is the lightest, warmest, and most breathable fleece on the market which makes the Ridge Liner the best mid-layer for these chilly times.

Image may contain: Clothing, Jeans, and Pants

Celine

Kurt Straight-Leg Jeans

I’ll never be as swaggy or impactful as Kurt Cobain, let alone Kurt Loder. But these perfectly faded and distressed straight-leg jeans from Celine make me believe that I could be some kind of famous.

Image may contain: Clothing, Footwear, Shoe, and Boot

Red Wing Shoes

Logger 4501 Leather Lace-Up Boots

Red Wing Heritage’s revival of these archival logger boots couldn’t come a second sooner. In celebration of the brand’s 120th anniversary, they come back in a beautifully pebbled leather and would look great with everything else on my wish list. Just saying…

Tekla

Navy Terry Classic Bathrobe

I really hope there’s a German word for the distinct feeling you get when you slip into the hotel bathrobe for the first time. It’s the loungewear equivalent of Cinderella slipping her feet into those glass slippers. I’m trying to recreate that feeling for myself, which is why I’m so drawn to this Tekla bathrobe. There are several things I love about it, but the most important part is the heavyweight French Terry cotton, perfect for fall and winter.

Image may contain: Blazer, Clothing, Coat, and Jacket

Todd Snyder

Italian Wide Wale Corduroy Madison Jacket

I’ll be wearing this with a shetland sweater, a pair of vintage Levi’s, and Clarks Wallabees. Am I channeling Wes Anderson? Yes. Is that a bad thing? Hell no. I’m going to throw this on my wish list and pray to the menswear gods that this makes its way into my rotation.

Image may contain: Clothing, Footwear, Shoe, and Sneaker

Big Rock Candy Mountaineering

El Cap Leather Boot – Black Licorice

These joints are inspired by old climbing shoes worn by dirtbags who probably trekked and climbed El Capitan. I’m sorry to say that if these bad boys manage to find their way onto my feet, the only thing they’ll be climbing is the step up to my local cafe, where I’ll shamelessly order my performative male matcha latte.

Image may contain: Cup, Beverage, Coffee, Coffee Cup, and Espresso

Fellow

Espresso Series 1

I’m on a personal quest to make the perfect flat white at home. Fellow is known for their top-tier electric kettles and coffee grinders, but I saw this espresso machine and my eyes jumped out of my head like a Looney Tunes character. Before you know it, I’ll be whipping up cappuccinos and lattes like your local barista.

Mari Herrema, Marketing and Production Manager

Gap

Adult Softest Flannel PJ Set

I’m a huge advocate of “fancy sleep”—face mask, fresh sheets, matching set pajamas—but since my rotation of oversized men’s shirts (a.k.a., normal sleepwear) has only grown since I started working for a gentleman’s magazine, I find it hard to justify buying pajama sets. Can’t argue your way into buying it yourself? Throw it on a wish list.

Image may contain: Cutlery, Wood, and Tray

Collin Garrity

Wooden Sardine Tin Set

I am in my fish era. I’ve been in my fish era for about three years, and there are no signs I’ll be stopping anytime soon. But you know what’s sorely lacking from my respectable collection of fish decor? A sardine tin set carved from wood that will perfectly harmonize with my TV console.

Image may contain: Clothing, Footwear, Shoe, Sneaker, and Running Shoe

Nike

Metcon 10

After years of aggressively loving my Metcon 8s, and after Nike’s improvements on the not-so-loved 9s, I’m ready for an upgrade. If you or a loved one dabble in lifting but also want to comfortably pace around the gym between sets, nab yourself—or them—a pair of these.

Image may contain: Cosmetics, and Lipstick

Chanel

Gloss Up Lip Set

I’m not much of a makeup person, but I am weak for a little lip shine, and so are, probably, many others in your life. I love that Chanel’s glosses both moisturize and last a long time; factor in the lovely color range and the classy-cute AF pouch, and it’s game over for me.

Michael Nolledo, Commerce Director

Image may contain: Michael Jordan, Adult, Person, Throwing, Ball, Handball, Sport, Rugby, Rugby Ball, Clothing, and Footwear

Assouline

Air Jordan Book

Chicago is my hometown, the Bulls forever my team, and MJ will always be GOAT. I dig that the book isn’t about basketball so much as it is on the Jordan Brand itself, meaning the promised “rare materials from the Nike archives” is a sell unto itself.

Image may contain: Rosalía, Clothing, Hat, Cap, Adult, Person, Swimwear, Art, and Collage

Rosalia

LUX Vinyl

It’s an incredible record on its own merits, but I also happened to be in Barcelona the weekend it dropped, and I heard it everywhere I went, the whole thing hitting with a singular alchemy of time and place. A great gift for anyone with ears regardless, but for me, a memento of an unforgettable trip.

Image may contain: Clothing, Shirt, Long Sleeve, Sleeve, Home Decor, Linen, and Dress Shirt

Bather

Harbor Fringle Leisure Shirt

Bather built its name on swim shorts, but lately the brand’s been stepping it up in ways that feel unexpectedly great. Like this shirt, cut from patchwork fabric sourced from Japan. It reminds me something I thrifted once, and have been trying to find something similar ever since.

Image may contain: Clothing, and Scarf

Everlane

Cashmere Lovergirl Large Kerchief

You know what’s not cute? Hat hair. I’m convinced the solve is a kerchief big enough to wrap around my big ol’ noggin. Labels far and wide are peddling their own versions this season, but Everlane’s take is the perfect pop of red and, mercifully for the gifter, extremely affordable.

Brittany Loggins, Contributing Writer, Web Producer

Sterling Pacific

40L Cabin Travel Case

This is not a joke: no fewer than three men came up to me to ask what brand this suitcase was the last time I was in the airport. One of them took a photo of it, asked how much it cost and then said to me, “Why can I never love cheap things?” And while it isn’t cheap, it’s definitely worth it. It’s made of super-strong aluminum accented by steel rivets—and you can absolutely shove enough clothing to outfit a village in this bad boy. Oh, and the handles? Italian leather. Even the inside feels like suede, but I don’t think it actually is.

Image may contain: Electronics, and Speaker

Dangbei

MP1 MAX Triple Laser 4K Projector

If you’re a college football (or NFL fan, I guess), I feel like a good projector is an absolute necessity. Especially if you have outdoor space, this projector offers a 4K display that will make you think you’re in a theater instead of your backyard.

Image may contain: Clothing, Pants, and Formal Wear

Lilysilk

Full Bias Cut Silk Pants

Believe me when I tell you, fancy pants can add a dressy element to any outfit. These are made of 100% mulberry silk, but they’re still durable somehow—I know because I haven’t picked them yet. All I want for Christmas is to wear pants that feel like pajamas and look super polished.

Image may contain: Clothing, Knitwear, Sweater, and Sweatshirt

Joe’s Jeans

The Jude Collared Sweater

This sweater is made of wool and cotton, which means it’s incredibly warm. Also, look at that cute little collar!
