Bad Bunny is leaving the door open for a potential WWE return, revealing that he would love to step back into the ring one more time.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Bunny shared his desire to wrestle again, saying, “I want to do it one more time. I want to put my life at risk in the ring. I felt like I didn’t risk it enough before, and I want to do it. I want to scare my mother.”

While he hasn’t confirmed when his return will happen, he emphasized his ongoing communication with WWE, staying “in contact with the people at WWE” and keeping an eye on developments.

“When, I don’t know,” he added, expressing hope that he would have time to prepare physically, just as he did for his past matches.

Bad Bunny has certainly made an impression on the WWE Universe. His most recent match took place at WWE Backlash 2023, where he faced Damian Priest in a thrilling San Juan Street Fight, capturing the victory in front of a wild crowd in his home country of Puerto Rico.

Before that, Bunny made history by teaming up with Priest to defeat The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37.

He also made an appearance in the 2022 Royal Rumble, lasting nearly eight minutes before being eliminated by Brock Lesnar. Though his in-ring career with WWE remains sporadic, Bunny’s passion for wrestling is clear.

In the Rolling Stone interview, the Latin music superstar also admitted to occasionally fantasizing about taking his wrestling career full-time.

“Sometimes, I say, ‘I’m going to quit everything and just do wrestling full time,'” he shared.

His love for wrestling villains—whom he has always favored over heroes—has him intrigued by the idea of playing a heel character, adding, “That’s what I’d love.”

Bunny also shared insights into WWE’s expanding global reach, particularly in Latin America.

He reflected on the success of Backlash in Puerto Rico and hinted at future international events, saying, “I saw that last year Backlash was in France, now it’s going to Mexico. They saw that it worked.”

As for his future in WWE, while there’s no official word on dates or locations, including whether Bunny will be involved in the next Backlash, one thing is clear: the door remains open for his return.

When he’s ready, it seems WWE fans will be more than happy to welcome him back—whether for one more match or something more long-term.
