Civilization 7 roadmap: All free content updates and DLC planned for 2025

The countdown is getting closer to zero for the release of Civilization 7 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, but Firaxis is already thinking about the future and has a roadmap to prove it, detailing the first leg of post-launch support in 2025.
Once the turn-based strategy game is out, fans can expect the developer to support the game with updates, fresh content, and time-limited challenges for years to come, but the immediate future already has a lot to offer.

Civilization 7 Roadmap: Release
All things start at… yes, the beginning. For Civilization 7, this will be February 11, 2025, as that’s when the game will officially be out on all platforms and for every edition.
Those shelling out extra for a Deluxe or Founders Edition of the game, however, will already start their Civilization 7 journey with advanced access on February 6, 2025. Planned for the same day is the release of the Day 0 Patch, which brings a variety of fixes and improvements compared to what reviewers and content creators have been playing.
Civilization 7 Roadmap: March 2025
In March 2025, Firaxis plans on releasing the Crossroads of the World DLC in two stages.
Crossroads of the World DLC – Phase 1 (Early March 2025):
- New Leader: Ada Lovelace
- New Civs: Carthage and Great Britain
- Four new Natural Wonders
Crossroads of the World DLC – Phase 1 (Late March 2025):
- New Leader: Simon Bolivar
- New Civs: Bulgaria and Nepal
Similarly, Firaxis has planned a variety of free updates for early and late March 2025.
Early March 2025:
- Update 1.1.0
- Event: Natural Wonder Battle
- New Natural Wonder: Bermuda Triangle
Late March 2025:
- Update 1.1.1
- Event: Marvelous Mountains
- New Natural Wonder: Mount Everest
Civilization 7 Roadmap: April to September 2025
Things become a little more vague after March 2025, though we know that another DLC with the same scope as Crossroads of the World is planned to be released until September. The DLC is called Right to Rule and will feature two Leaders, four Civilizations, and four Natural Wonders.
In this timeframe, there will be additional events, challenges, and patches for free.
