Commanders Lose Star RB For at Least Four Games, Waive Former First Rounder

The Washington Commanders have placed running back Austin Ekeler on injured reserve, via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Ekeler will now miss the Commanders’ next four games as Washington looks to contend for the postseason.
The Commanders are additionally waiving 2023 first-round pick Emmanuel Forbes.
