It’s a game often referred to as The Game, pitting the Wolverines and Buckeyes against each other in a contest that often has major implications for both teams. That isn’t necessarily the case this year, as Ohio State has a lot to lose here and Michigan has barely anything to gain, but that makes it important for the Buckeyes that the team doesn’t stumble against its greatest rival.

The Buckeyes have won five in a row and are coming off a huge win last weekend, knocking off previously undefeated Indiana 38-15. Ohio State quarterback Will Howard was 22-for-26 for 201 yards in the win, throwing two touchdowns and one pick. He also rushed for a score.
Ohio State’s defense was the driving factor through, as the team held Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke to just 68 passing yards on 8-for-18 passing.
As for Michigan, the Wolverines look to end a disappointing season on a strong note this weekend, but it’s going to be tough. Michigan is 1-4 against ranked teams and the one ranked win the Wolverines had was against USC, which dropped out of the rankings back on October.
Michigan is coming off a dominant win over Northwestern last week, taking down the Wildcats 50-6. Kalel Mullings rushed for three touchdowns in the win while Donovan Edwards and Tavierre Dunlap each added a rushing score as well.
