Hulk Hogan Won’t Attend WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event: Report

Recently, WWE Hall of Famer and professional wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has been the subject of backlash from the wrestling community.

While making a surprise appearance during the Netflix premiere of Monday Night Raw, Hogan was booed out of the Intuit Dome as he tried to promote WWE’s new partnership and Real American Beer.

Many pundits may have pointed to Hogan’s recent support of President Donald Trump as the reason, but the surprise turn on the multi-time WWE Champion is due to previous racist statements and the wrestler not seeming genuine.

Things only go worse when CM Punk called Hogan out in a promo declaring for the Royal Rumble to cheers from a Texas crowd.

Now, more attention has been given to Hogan after it was revealed he won’t be at Saturday Night’s Main Event in January despite being featured in the advertising for it.

According to a recent post by Dr Chris Featherstone, Ph.D. of Sportskeeda, Hogan will not be appearing at Saturday Night’s Main Event in January 2025 due to “family commitments.”

The story was additionally backed up by Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer, who also said Hogan’s absence was not due to “being booed in Los Angeles or at every arena where the Saturday Night’s Main Event commercial played, or Jesse Ventura or any other reason in that direction.”

This may seem like a convenient excuse for the Hulkster not to appear after the WWE Universe grew sour on him, but there have been recent family events that are worth taking a break from work for.

Not only will Hogan be attending a family wedding on the same day, but his daughter, Brooke Olesky, recently gave birth to twins, which she announced on her Instagram page.

“So… just been staying off socials cooking these two cuties,” Olesky said. “Our hearts have been made whole by the arrival of these two sweet souls we get to love. God is good.”

Olesky received an outpouring of support from multiple members of the wrestling community, including Mick Foley’s daughter Noelle Foley, former TNA President Dixie Carter, and Lisa Marie Varon (AKA Victoria from WWE and Tara from TNA).
