The IDF struck and killed three terrorists near Jenin in the West Bank, the military announced in a joint statement with the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) on Tuesday.
The cell was reportedly planning to carry out an attack and also took part in organizing terror activities in the Jenin refugee camp.
During the operation, the officers from the Counterterrorism Unit, following intelligence from the IDF and Shin Bet, tracked the terrorist cell, finding them emerging from a cave, before opening fire.
Shortly thereafter, an airstrike was carried out by the Israel Air Force to hit the cave from which they emerged.
