IDF reveals Hamas tunnel sleeping quarters
The kilometre-long tunnel was discovered during an operation led by the 7th Brigade Combat Team and subsequently demolished.
IDF forces found sleeping quarters used by Hamas terrorists in one of their terror tunnels in the Zeitun area, which were part of a recently demolished terror complex, the military said Thursday.
The kilometer-long tunnel was discovered during an operation led by the 7th Brigade. It was subsequently demolished through the combined efforts of the brigade’s engineering forces, the Air Force, and Yahalom Combat Engineers.
This comes as the military has intensified its campaign in Gaza, with several raids across key points in the Strip and strikes on terror-related targets.

IDF intensifies its operations in Gaza
The 188th Armored Brigade’s combat team advanced in Khan Yunis and has been working on asserting control over the Magen Oz axis, which could provide a strategic corridor in the area, according to the IDF.
In the Jabalya area, the 162nd Division continued clearing operations and demolished multiple tunnel networks. Also in the northern Strip, soldiers from the 401st Armored Brigade killed three terrorists who were seen near their position.
In Gaza City, the IDF has started evacuating civilians ahead of the occupation of the city. According to the military, displaced civilians are being directed toward the southern Strip, where humanitarian aid is being provided.
