IDF reveals new photo of killed Hamas spox. Abu Obeida, publishes footage of fatal airstrike
The IDF released a photo of slain Hamas spokesperson Abu Obeida with Mohammed Deif and other senior commanders of the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, along with footage of the strike that killed him.
IDF Spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Effie Defrin on Thursday revealed a new photograph of Hamas spokesperson Abu Obeida, who was killed in an IDF strike.
In the photograph, Obeida is seen standing next to the head of Hamas’s military wing, Mohammed Deif, as well as Khan Yunis Brigade Commander Raaf Salameh, head of the military wing’s intelligence staff, Mohammed Odeh, and other senior terrorists within the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades.
Deif and Salameh have also been killed by the IDF since the start of the Israel-Hamas war.
The military also published footage of the strike that killed Abu Obeida.

The IDF currently controls 40% of Gaza City, Defrin added.
