Israel Police arrest brother of terrorist for driving stolen vehicle while wearing IDF uniform
Israel Police also revealed that the suspect is the brother of a terrorist who carried out a deadly shooting attack in the West Bank in 2002, in which 11 Israelis were murdered.
A Palestinian resident of Silwad, a town in the West Bank, was arrested over the weekend while driving a stolen vehicle and wearing an IDF uniform, Israel Police said in a Sunday statement.
The suspected driver, 41, was arrested by police and soldiers of the IDF’s undercover Duvdevan Unit and transferred to the Binyamin police station for further questioning.

Brother of terrorist, never issued a driver’s license
The vehicle first caught police attention because it had no license plates, according to the statement, and was later found to have been stolen in March 2024.

The suspect had also never been issued a driver’s license, police said.
