This week, Justin Bieber started a Twitch channel and promised to post everyday before Coachella, live-streaming candid scenes of himself doing stuff like scrolling on his phone in a big ball pit with Lil Yachty and playing basketball in a lime green beanie.

Besides broadcasting on the gaming platform, he was also spotted in Beverly Hills, wearing head-to-toe Skylrk—including dark shades and a cross-front hoodie that covered all but a crescent of his low-clip buzz cut.

There’s something ASMR-y about seeing stubble framed by fleece. One imagines, maybe, the quiet rasp of little spiky hairs catching the cotton. Judging by Bieber’s scalp visibility and uniform grain, he probably used a #1 guard, leaving hair about 3 millimeters. The look is clean and clinical but also cozy because it’s being hugged by Bieber’s soft, thick hoodie.

You might recall, last month, the star posted a selfie saying he’d finally gotten the facial hair he’s been asking God for. “Still can’t believe my beard is this long,” he wrote in an Instagram caption on September 16. “I prayed for this beard lmfao.” The growth around his chin looked to be about three centimeters long, hanging off in a dense cluster akin to a very wide goatee.
