Luigi Mangione Gets Date for New Hearing

Alleged killer Luigi Mangione is scheduled to appear before a judge on December 30, according to court documents issued on Thursday.

Mangione was arrested on Monday after being found at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania, a city about 275 miles from New York City. He is the main suspect in the fatal shooting United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, who was killed in midtown Manhattan while walking into an investors meeting at a Hilton hotel.

On December 30, Mangione will again appear before Pennsylvania state Judge Dave Consiglio, who denied Mangione bail at an extradition hearing on Tuesday. Mangione’s attorney is expected to seek bail again during the next hearing as well as he present evidence.
