He was arrested on the spot and interrogated by authorities. After his interrogation, he was imprisoned, and his sentence was extended.
Previous plot to assassinate Netanyahu foiled
Back in July, 74-year-old Tamar Gershoni was arrested and indicted for trying to advance plans to kill Netanyahu with an explosive device.

Gershoni is active in the anti-government protest bloc. Other protest leaders alerted authorities to what they saw increasing concerning sentiments from her.
The charges against her included attempted conspiracy to commit an act of terrorism.
She had approached other protesters in an effort to obtain weapons, and she also made inquiries about the prime minister’s security arrangements, protest leaders had said.
She was arrested by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) after an investigation by Lahav 433 – The National Crime Unit.
