‘One big family’: Rescued hostage Noa Argamani thanks Nvidia for never forgetting Avinatan Or
Argamani detailed how every effort was made in coordination and with direct support from Huang, who “personally accompanied the family and called repeatedly to ask how they were doing.”
Rescued hostage Noa Argamani thanked Nvidia for never forgetting her partner, former hostage Avinatan Or, while he was held by Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip, in a post to X/Twitter late Thursday evening.
The post came after a meeting between Argamani, Or, and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang at the company’s US headquarters, marking the first time since Or was released in October, Ynet reported.
“Somewhere in early 2022, Avinatan started his first job with Nvidia, a decision that would later prove to be one of the best he ever made in his life,” Argamani shared in her post. “Throughout the entire two years that Avinatan was held captive, Nvidia was much more than just a workplace; it was one big family.”
“People who had never even met him held signs with his picture every single day, every meeting began with a mention of him and a call for his return, and they even kept his desk corner untouched until the day he came back.”
Argamani detailed how every effort was made in coordination and with direct support from Huang, who “personally accompanied the family and called repeatedly to ask how they were doing.”
“Nvidia never forgot Avinatan, who had only worked there for a year and a half before he was kidnapped.”
‘Time has come to begin our shared journey together’
Hamas kidnapped both Argamani and Or on October 7, 2023, from the Nova music festival.
While Argamani was rescued by the IDF during Operation Arnon after 245 days in captivity, Or Or was held for 738 days and released as part of a prisoner-hostage exchange deal in October 2025.
“Two years. Two years passed since the last moment I saw Avinatan, the love of my life,” Argamani wrote online after Or’s release. “Two years since the moment terrorists kidnapped us, put me on a motorcycle, and tore me away from Avinatan before the eyes of the entire world.”
“At last, we can begin our healing together. The recovery will be long; we still haven’t truly processed what has happened here over these past two years.”
“But we won,” she went on. “We won our personal war, and the war of all those who fought alongside us to reach this moment. And now, the time has come to begin our shared journey together.”
