One of 2025’s Best GMT Watches Costs Less Than $1,000
Todd Snyder has created one of the most impressive watch programs in the industry. The designer makes insanely affordable and cool Timex pieces and everyday tool watches with Italian microbrand Unimatic. Now, the designer is teaming up with Unimatic again for an entry-level take on a GMT.
The new Modello Quattro U4 GMT is a perfect blend of Unimatic’s signature minimalist aesthetic and TS’s easy-to-wear designs. With its sterile bezel, distinctive Bauhaus typography, and custom-colored, quick-release textured suede strap, it’s perfect for the design set—but 1,000 meters of water resistance, an abundance of Super-LumiNova, an easily serviceable Japanese automatic movement, and the ability to quickly jump time zones make it ideal for the frequent traveler who wants a good-looking, fuss-free wrist companion. It looks like the love child of a NOMOS worldtimer and a Rolex Explorer II who was raised by Unimatic founders Giovanni Moro and Simone Nunziato. The watch goes on sale Thursday, November 13, at 9 a.m. ET on Todd Snyder’s website. The watch is $998 and limited to 100 pieces in Black and 250 in Cream.
