While most of us are struggling across the 2025 finishline, for Rihanna, business never stops—and important business meetings require important business fits. Done the Rihanna way, that is.

The pop star, beauty mogul, and recent mom of three stepped out in Hollywood yesterday wearing an oversized camel trench coat cinched at the waist with a Celine chain belt, a red and gold silk Hermés scarf worn like a cravat, and towering wooden and leather platform stilettos. With large bubble-rimmed black sunglasses firmly on, Rih sported a ruby red lip and wore her hair swept up into a spiky bun.

If anyone can be trusted with turning errands into runway moments, it’s Rihanna. Last month, when she headed to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Vital Records office to organize her daughter Rocki Irish’s birth records, she offered a bold take on bureaucratic chic: wearing a shredded hem and heavily shoulder padded suit, paired with a white button-up with an exaggerated popped collar. In lieu of a briefcase, she opted for an east-west Gucci horsebit clutch.

But even such quotidian activities as a FatBurger run requires fashion, as Rih showed us when she wore a strapless Saint Laurent dress with a Schiaparelli bag to pick up her burger and soda. Or what about that sherbet toned Issey Miyake dress paired with acid hued Pumas for going out and about in Beverly Hills, or just about any outfit worn to her favorite pasta spot, Giorgio Baldi—although who could forget that extreme bump-exposing Alaïa moment.

Whether it’s the boardroom or G.B’s, with A$AP Rocky or riding solo, Rihanna—firmly in Vogue’s Best Dressed of 2025 list—never misses an opportunity to dress up.
