Tallulah Willis shares major relationship update
Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributors
Tallulah Willis, the youngest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, is ready to walk down the aisle.
The 30-year-old announced her engagement to partner Justin Acee on Instagram on Monday, December 23. She shared the big news in a shared post with Acee, captioning it simply, “everyday @justinacee.”
The first image showed off the engagement ring, along with a floor covered in red rose petals. The second slide in the carousel features a video look at the extravagant engagement, which included a path of rose petals and candles.
Acee could be heard saying “We did it” and “It was a team effort” in the walkthrough, which showed off rose petals in the shape of hearts and an arrow pointing the way on a candle-lined path to a roaring fireplace with even more rose petals.
Fans wanting a glimpse of the happy couple will have to scroll to slide three, which shows the pair smiling as they close their eyes, about to lock lips. Of course, the news couldn’t be shared without a look at Moore’s beloved dog Pilaf. In the final slide, Tallulah shows off her new bling with a close-up shot of the pup resting in her one hand.
Friends and family flooded the comments section to congratulate the couple. Tallulah’s sister, Rumer, 36, shared a heartfelt message.
“The most beautiful love to witness and watch grow. I love you both so much. Justin I’m so lucky I get to call you my brother. Baby Lula my gift my queen my heart is so full. Obsessed with you both,” she wrote.
Her sister Scout, 33, re-shared Tallulah’s post to her Instagram Story, along with a few pictures from the proposal, cropped into heart shapes. “My angels are ENGAGEDDDDDDDDDDDDDD 🥹🥹🥹🥹,” Scout gushed in the caption, while also tagging her sister and her soon-to-be brother-in-law.
The exact timeline of Tallulah and Acee’s relationship is not clear, as Moore and Willis’ youngest daughter was last linked to director Dillon Buss. The two had announced their engagement in May 2021, but in a May 2023 essay Tallulah wrote for Vogue, she shared that they had called things off in 2022, around the same time she was processing her father’s health issues.
The famous family announced in 2022 that the Die Hard star, 69, was suffering from aphasia, with the diagnosis later updated to include frontotemporal dementia (FTD), a progressive neurological disorder.
News of the engagement comes a week after Scout shared a sweet video of herself hugging her father. The brief clip shows Scout embracing her father, who is pictured in a grey cardigan and slacks.
“Some December, and a formal announcement that I’m an actor now fyi,” Scout joked in the photo dump’s caption.
