Tarek El Moussa is in utter disbelief when it comes to his new show The Flip Off on HGTV.
Tarek, 43, is set to star alongside his current wife, Heather Rae El Moussa in another real estate themed competition show against his ex-wife, Christina Hall.
“Man, I never, ever in my life thought this show would happen” the real estate investor told Us Weekly in an interview at the Us Weekly + Pluto TV Reality Stars of the Year Party on Thursday, October 10. “Sometimes I’m sitting there and I’ll have a moment where I look over at Heather, my wife, and I look over to the other side, and there’s my ex-wife, Christina. And I wonder, ‘How did I get here?'” he admitted to the publication.
Christina, 41, was also interviewed at the event and commented on the matter telling the outlet, “He’s like, ‘How did I get here? How am I building with my ex-wife and my wife?'” Adding that her ex-husband “does say that a lot.”
In the show, the father of three and former Playboy playmate will have to face off against Christina as the two teams compete to flip homes. Christina’s most recent ex-husband Josh, was set to star alongside her on the show, but will not be a part of the competition after the couple filed for divorce in July after only 3 years of marriage.
Tarek married Christina in May of 2009 and share daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 8. The two were married and business partners for 9 years before their divorce in 2018, starring on the HGTV’s Flip or Flop until its cancellation in 2022.
Tarek started dating Heather Rae, 37, in 2019, marrying three years later in a wedding that was the focus of Tarek and Heather: The Big I Do, a special on Disney+. The couple has since welcomed a son named Tristan in 2023.
