TCE establishes an office in Costa Rica
A German-based air cargo supervisor has expanded its operations in Costa Rica with a new office that will function as a gateway for Central America and offer coverage for European night shifts. The office will be located at Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) in Costa Rica.
The launch comes a few weeks after TCE established its inaugural African office in Casablanca, Morocco.
With both new locations, TCE aims to grow its global network, enabling it to deliver high-performance standards across its locations, while addressing the specific needs of each region.
Sarah Scheibe, managing director of TCE, said: “Our expansion is driven by a simple principle: to be where our customers need us, and to provide the same world-class service everywhere.”
She added, “Costa Rica is a key gateway to the Americas, and with a highly skilled local team led by one of our original TCE experts, Rodolfo Paez, we are perfectly positioned to support our partners’ growth in this dynamic market.”
The company highlighted that the two main drivers for establishing operations in Costa Rica were the significant number of its client airlines that operate in Central America and need operational supervision, and the San Jose team’s capability to manage the European night shift.
The new office will be managed by Rodolfo Paez, along with an additional seven employees stationed there. The team will oversee regional operations, collaborate with partners, handle customer inquiries and complaints, provide customer service, and offer operational oversight for flights worldwide.
