With the 2026 Golden Globes done and dusted, awards season is officially in full swing. During Sunday’s ceremony, we got a full picture of contemporary red-carpet menswear: tie-free tuxedos; a hefty smattering of brooches and bow-shaped accessories; peak-lapel jackets; wide-legged and flared trousers; offbeat suits by offbeat brands. 10. Owen Cooper
In September, the 16-year-old Adolescence star kicked off his trophy-laden awards run at the Emmys, where he wore a Frank Ocean-esque look from Zac Posen’s Gap Studio. Ever since, Cooper has kept up the formal-workwear vibe by way of Bottega Veneta, the label that also provides big-ticket fashion for Jacob Elordi, whom Cooper just so happens to shadow as a younger Heathcliff in Emerald Fennell’s upcoming Wuthering Heights adaptation. 9. Atsuhiro Iwakami
On just about every awards red carpet, there’s at least one largely unknown industry person who outdresses many of the A-listers present. At last night’s Globes, that distinction went to Kokuho producer Atsuhiro Iwakami, who balanced an uber-classic black-tie look—note the abundance of trad details, from the wing collar to the broad peak lapels to the cummerbund to the gleaming patent shoes—with a flex-worthy, palm-tree-motif Jil Sander clutch.
