Todd Snyder and Timex Just Unveiled the Best Affordable Tank Dupe Yet

For years, menswear god Todd Snyder has been teaming up with the good folks at Timex to offer vintage reissues of awesome watches, often complemented with a fun, Snyder-esque twist. Inspired by timepieces from the American-founded watchmaker’s archive, these models mostly cost somewhere around $200, making excellent wristwear options accessible to all. The TS and Timex partnership is one of the best—and most enduring—in the watch world and it appears the two are committed to deepening their relationship. The designer just put two new pieces from the brand on his runway.

At Snyder’s spring 2026 show this past week in NoMad, relaxed tailoring took center stage, with plenty of silk, linen, and loose-fitting jackets on offer. Complementing these looks on the wrists of the models were two equally easy-going watches, both of which are new Snyder x Timex collabs: The first is the real showstopper: the 1976 Lexington, a Tank-esque, rectangular dress watch. As far as we can tell, despite the many collaborations between the designer and watchmaker, this is the first time they’ve dabbled with this shape. Housed in a stainless steel case with an acrylic crystal, it features a dial available in salmon, Tiffany-esque blue, or pale yellow with an outer railroad minute track, applied wedge and Arabic indices, and an alpha handset. Powered by a quartz movement and paired to a padded leather strap with contrasting top-stitching, it calls to mind the classic, dressy silhouettes from the 1920s through ’40s. The watch will immediately be a strong contender for the best affordable Tank-style watch on the market when it releases next spring.
