The winner of the first 40 minutes of One Battle After Another was also the deserved winner in the supporting actress category her—and she delivered a generational reaction shot, full of genuine shock and emotion. Julia Roberts went all “wine mom”

First of all, she walked out to present the award for Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy and, when a few people stood up to greet her, urged everyone else to get on their feet. “Everybody!” she said, “Let’s go!” Amazing. Graham in particular is ending a run of elite speeches, and did so beautifully, interrupting his own emotional closer to be star-struck by Queen Latifah— “Wow! Can’t believe it.” Never change, Steve.
