AFCON: Equatorial Guinea’s history in the Africa Cup of Nations

Equatorial Guinea has quickly established itself as a unique presence in the recent history of the Africa Cup of Nations. Absent from the continental scene until 2012, Nzalang Nacional took advantage of its status as co-host to make a sensational debut, reaching the quarter-finals in its very first appearance and setting off an unexpected momentum.
