Matty Matheson: If it’s happening right now, I feel it’s already washed a little bit. A trend is something that already happened that people finally caught onto, so that’s kind of dust.

Law Roach: Don’t listen to other people. That’s always going to be my answer. Wear whatever the fuck you want to wear and just don’t care. This is the thing: None of us are born not having confidence. We are not even born with fear. We are taught not to love ourselves and not to be confident. We are not born that way. So take it back. Take the power back.

Plus: the best style advice they’ve ever received

Nicolas Gabard: It came from my tailor when I ordered bespoke suits. It was a French guy and I started to be into tailoring after my fashion moment. Because I’m a big fan of Hedi [Slimane] and Hedi was changing all the men’s [silhouettes]—just making some super slim and tiny things. And I remember I asked my tailor to make some sort of Hedi stuff. And of course he didn’t get it. He said, “That’s too tiny, that’s too slim. You will be ridiculous.” So my first suit, he followed my desire and it was a disaster. So I spent 4,000 euros.

He said, “Let me give you centimeters everywhere. People won’t notice. You will feel more comfortable. You will have the same impact. You will have the same silhouette you want to reach, but you will feel more breathable and people will see. So the elegance of the outfits start to appear. You can have great style with a lot of comfort.”

Matty Matheson: It’s funny, when I started shooting stuff for Vice, I started [getting free clothes]. All of a sudden I was just wearing multiple brands at the same time, and I remember Julian [Consuegra, the founder of the brand Stray Rats] just being like, “Dog, just stop. You look like a Nascar.” It was a thing that I always remember.
