Zelensky: First Ukrainian drones produced in Germany by mid-February
The first Ukrainian drones produced in Germany are due to be operational by mid-February, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday.
As part of the Ukrainian war effort against Russia, Kiev has sought to relocate the production of weapons and ammunition, including drones, to allied countries such as Germany, Denmark and the United Kingdom.
During an appearance with students in the capital, Zelensky said, “Ten export centres across Europe will be operating as early as 2026 in the Baltic and Nordic states.”

The German facility is due to be operational by mid-February, the Ukrainian leader said. “I will receive the first drone. This is a production line that is operational,” he added.
Ukraine has been fighting off a Russian invasion for almost four years with massive Western aid.
