Connor Storrie Just Upped His Watch Game Again

It’s been a wild ride for Connor Storrie. A year ago, not many people had heard of Heated Rivalry star, now he’s chatting with Madonna at a Saint Laurent show with Kate Moss on his other side while Charli XCX and Rami Malek sit just a few feet away.

Fashion shows aren’t just about the celebrities or even the clothes, though. It’s about the look sas a whole—the way it’s styled and accessorized perfectly on the runway. So, of course, it’s also about a watch, and Storrie brought a good one. On his wrist, Storrie was rocking a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso. Not the rarest flex out there, we know. Famous people and their stylists have long looked beyond the standard Cartier Tank to other options for such moments, the Reverso being prime among them.

But this was a little more interesting than the lovely, dainty Reversos we see so often now. It was a chronograph Reverso. Plus, one of its two flippable dials was open-worked, to properly show off all the engineering crammed into that rectangular steel case. A moon phase on a Reverso, sure, but a chronograph? That’s not what you expect.

But it works: the silvery intricacy of the movement and the blue chronograph hands are framed nicely by the plain, Art Deco-inspired bezel. It’s not the kind of watch-nerd statement that bigger, rounder designs with similar functionality can end up as. Anyway, the plain dial is still there to keep things sleek and dressy if you want it.

Despite being a relative newbie to the red carpet, Storrie knows how to wear a watch that has its own thing going on. He’s worn dress watches from sporty-coded brands, such as an Omega De Ville Prestige and an Omega Constellation Observatory (the latter at the Met Gala). He’s worn some quite IYKYK stuff, such as a Tiffany Cocktail at the Actor Awards. He’s on a great run, long may it continue.
