If there’s one thing that Taylor Swift has proven to be good at outside of writing award-winning songs, it’s winning over the hearts of die-hard NFL fans and players.
Former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver and returns specialist Dante Hall recently revealed that he’s a huge fan of the 35-year-old singer in an article published by TMZ on Saturday, January 25. In the article, the 46-year-old former NFL player explained that he met the “Fortnight” singer at a recent game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, and that’s what changed everything.
Hall admitted that he didn’t consider himself a fan of the pop star before they met and told the outlet, “Her music just wasn’t for me.” He then went on to detail his impression of Swift and what it was like to meet her, saying, “She is so down to earth, she’s super witty. Super engaging, and just one hell of a human being.” He added, “To be the most popular person on planet earth, to be that humble and that down to earth, I walked away being an ultimate Swiftie.”

Fans of the “Lover” singer took to the comments section of a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) about Hall’s newfound fandom to share their thoughts on the news.
“I love that everyone who meets her irl says the exact same thing yet people on Twitter want to convince everyone she’s the devil đ,” noted one fan, while a second wrote, “Taylor’s charm is undefeatedâif she can convert an NFL star like Dante Hall into a Swiftie, the rest of us don’t stand a chance! đ.” A third fan wrote, “Imagine being Travis Kelce and having every single person you respect talking wonderful things about your girl.”

Hall played football for Texas A&M before he was selected by the Chiefs during the 2000 NFL draft. He played for Kansas City for seven years before he was traded to the St. Louis Rams (now known as the Los Angeles Rams) in 2007. Hall, who was also known as “the Human Joystick,” stopped playing professionally after the Rams did not offer to re-sign him in 2008.
Swift has been dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travise Kelce, since July 2023 and has attended a number of games. She most recently attended a home game at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, January 19, where the Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans with a final score of 23 to 14.
